The first public presentation of the Culver City Bicycle & Pedestrian Action Plan (CCBPAP) was at the Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) on July 20, 2017. The consultant team presented an overview of the project, including key deliverables and milestones. Seven of the nine committee members were in attendance, along with four members of the public.
The presentation also included a list of possible community stakeholders and community groups that would be engaged in the planning process. The consultant team asked for additional recommendations from the BPAC members, in order to leverage local knowledge from each of the members. A list of recommended community groups was compiled and shared with Culver City staff. To learn more, read the minutes of the meeting.
A similar presentation, scheduled for October 9, 2017, will be given to the Culver City Council in order to ensure that Council members have an opportunity to weigh in on potential community outreach, as well.
